Ms. Casey is an English teacher (grades 6-12) at PACE Center for Girls in Immokalee, Florida. She was born in Florida and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She has been living in Florida for the past seven years and now considers Fort Myers home. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelors in Special Education in May 2009 and is currently working on her Masters in Reading Education.
She is passionate to continue learning and applying different strategies to enhance adolescents' reading education. The focus of this blog is to provide a resource for teachers, parents, librarians, and students interested in making reading an enjoyable experience for young adult readers. Enjoy!
